André L Johnson, CEO
– Mr. Johnson is responsible for strategic direction,
financial and overall management of FreightScan. He has
practical knowledge in all sizes of business from entrepreneurial
to Fortune 100 companies, and has built and driven highly
successful teams across capital markets at Merrill Lynch,
risk management at Wells Fargo and financial operations
at Cardinal Health. Mr. Johnson holds a degree in Chemical
Engineering and Business Administration, as well as a Masters
in Business Administration in Finance and Strategic Management
from the University of Minnesota.
Larry Fullerton, Chief Scientist
– Mr. Fullerton has been recognized as an
international expert on ultra wideband impulse radio and
radar since founding Time Domain Corporation in 1987. He
is recognized as a co-inventor on more than 150 patents and pending
patent applications in the fields of time-domain electromagnetics,
ultrasound velocimetry (the measurement of the velocity of fluids), data communications and seismic
exploratory instrumentation (both U.S. and foreign), and
has been featured in national media including the New York
Times, USA Today, Discover, U.S. News and World Report,
and other publications. Prior to founding Time Domain, Mr.
Fullerton was the Chief Scientist of Midsouth Technology,
Inc. and held engineering positions at Texas Instruments,
Computer Sciences Corporation, and ITT Telecommunications.
Mr. Fullerton earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Arkansas.
Sheri Ascencio, EVP of Marketing and Strategy
– Ms. Ascencio was a member of the original management
team for FreightScan in 2002, and brings a valuable legacy
component to the company. She formerly served as Director
of Marketing for Palomar Ventures, an early stage venture
capital fund with over $500 million under management, where
she started soon after the first fund was established in
April 1999. Prior to joining Palomar, Ms. Ascencio was the
founder and CEO of several successful companies in the mortgage
banking industry from 1990 to 1997. Previously, she was
the Vice President of Marketing for Centre Development,
a large commercial and industrial development firm. Ms.
Ascencio earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Business
at UCLA and a BA in Communications from Mills College.
